Aymen Terkmani, accused of murdering Mahmoud Hrouk, denied bail

 The man accused of raping and murdering Sydney teenager Mahmoud Hrouk has been formally refused bail.

Aymen Terkmani, 22, of Fairfield East, was arrested on Thursday and charged with murder and aggravated sexual assault.
He did not appear in person before Fairfield Local Court on Friday. His lawyer did not request bail.

FAMILY and friends of a man gunned down in broad daylight at a Punchbowl playground say they are “deeply saddened” by his death.
Hedi Ayoub was shot dead in the playground in Sydney’s west on Monday afternoon moments before a group of men was seen fleeing the area in separate cars.
Mr Ayoub, who was involved in the body building supplements industry, was found slumped near a tree in the park popular with young families.

Ashley Walker, 30-year-old of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, has been arrested, he was wanted in relation to the theft of a Legacy charity tin from outside a South Grafton store in the lead-up to Anzac Day 2015.
