NSW ALP corruption?

Keneally aide may lose spot to Whan Mr Secord is maintaining that he will take the vacancy soon to be created by the powerbroker Eddie Obeid but several senior sources have confirmed there is a push for Mr Whan, who was a surprise Labor casualty, to replace Mr Obeid. Now as Hatzistergos goes but
Mr Hatzistergos has denied
resigning to give former emergency services minister Steve Whan a political lifeline after he lost his Lower House seat of Monaro. NSW ALP made much of ICAC Report On Investigation Into The Metherell Resignation And Appointment. As did GreenLeft it seems. If Whan and Secord get appointed MLCs will the Left/media be as disturbed by this as with Metherell? Probably they will ignore it.
