Police search for prison escapees - Silverwater - police.nsw.gov.au

NSW Police are searching for two prisoners who escaped from the Silverwater Correctional Facility this afternoon. The two prisoners were last seen heading east on Parramatta Road at Lidcombe after commandeering a white Mitsubishi van with NSW registration AE3 3AN.
The male driver was left at the scene uninjured.
[Update Sydney Radio 2GB news report they went out the front gates on push bikes.]
